The design for this CRKT T-Hawk evolved from the popular and original tactical tomahawk series. But it’s built for battle with a few old Doug Firs. The CRKT Woods Chogan™ is made from a solid chunk of 1055 carbon steel that is hot forged into a rock-solid head that features a hammer finish. With primary and secondary edge bevels that are flat ground, it cuts through timber like a beaver. A hammerhead is useful for pounding in nails and stakes for the tent you’ll put by your roaring fire.

The thick wood handle is made in the USA from Tennessee hickory. It's comfortable in hand and sealed with a lacquer coat that adds durability whenever you're in the backcountry—in other words, all the time.

Looking for a sheath for your CRKT Berserker axe? Here’s a proper leather one. A bare axe is like a knife without a sheath. Easily blunted and cuts wrong stuff at the wrong time. Get one of these and protect your axe from the hostile environment and the peaceful environment from your hostile axe.

This is a thick and sturdy vegetable-tanned full-grain leather as it should be. The traditional tanning method produces durable stuff and it is more environmentally friendly than nowadays more common chrome tanning. Leather is properly oiled to prevent it from becoming hard and brittle. The seams are lock-stitched with strong and thick Nylon thread. Made in Oregon, USA.

This sheath is only meant for protecting the blade of the CRKT Berserker axe. Because it is designed to caress the unique figure of that particular axe head, it most likely loathes your other axes. If you try to force it on one of those modern plastic thingies, it will cut its belly open in shame and possibly tries to take your fingers with it. However, it will slide smoothly on Berserker and attaches securely with a snap fastener.

Are you a brute and your untamed chopping power broke your CRKT® Woods T-Hawk handle? No problem. We have the replacement handle for your CRKT® T-hawk right here. This Tennessee hickory handle is the replacement handle for the Woods Chogan T-Hawk and the Woods Kangee T-hawk. It's made in the USA and sealed with a lacquer coat that adds durability when you're in the backcountry.

To replace the handle, remove the old handle by carefully placing the butt of the old handle on the ground and tapping the head of the T-hawk with a mallet until it slides down. To put the new handle on, slide the head onto the handle from the tapered end until it is seated on the thicker end of the handle. Next, hold the handle of the T-Hawk with the head down and hit the ground or a hard surface sharply several times to seat the head onto the handle. Changes in humidity may cause the head to become loose so be sure to check before use.
