If you already use a Garmin PRO 70, PRO 550 or Sport PRO handheld, the PT10 lets you expand the system without replacing the controller. Add compatible PT10 devices as needed, with support for up to six dogs on PRO 70 and up to three dogs on either PRO 550 or Sport PRO. The stated 1.6km (1 mile) range gives the system room for outdoor dog training, while colour-coded collar pairing helps keep each dog's device matched to the correct handheld control.

The built-in BarkLimiter adds a separate kennel-management function. Garmin's Autorise technology automatically adjusts the BarkLimiter training level as it responds to unwanted barking, and the remotely operated LED beacon lights give you an extra way to identify the dog in low-light conditions.

For day-to-day durability, the PT10 is water-resistant to 1 ATM and uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a stated battery life of up to 60 hours. Two lengths of removable stainless insulated contact points are included, along with the charging hardware and a 19mm (0.75 inch) blue collar strap for this variant.
