That combination is aimed at keeping external moisture out while allowing heat and moisture generated during demanding movement to escape. A PFC-free durable water-repellent treatment adds further water-shedding performance at the surface.

Movement has also been considered carefully. Articulated knees and the sculpted athletic cut help the pants move with you through steep and uneven terrain, while adjustable ankle cuffs, reinforced inner ankle gussets and an internal silicone waistband grip help keep the fit controlled. Detachable suspenders and heavy-duty belt loops give you two ways to support the pants depending on your preferred setup.
