ThermTec Cyclops 335L 3.0 Handheld Thermal Monocular 384x288 50Hz | Laser Rangefinder
ThermTec Cyclops 335L 3.0 Handheld Thermal Monocular 384x288 50Hz | Laser Rangefinder
Description
The ThermTec Cyclops 335L 3.0 thermal monocular is built around detailed, stable field observation, combining a 384x288 12um thermal sensor with a 35mm (1.38 inch) F0.8 objective lens and 50Hz refresh rate. ThermTec AI Calibration is designed to reduce shutter frequency and minimise image freezing as conditions change, helping maintain a more consistent thermal image instead of interrupting observation with frequent calibration.
Distance measurement is integrated into the same handheld body. The Class 1, 905nm laser rangefinder measures out to 1000m (3281ft) with a stated accuracy of +/-1m (+/-3.3ft), so distance and thermal observation can be handled through one device. Base magnification is 4.3x, while continuous 1-4x digital zoom and Thermal Super Resolution extend the viewing system up to 17.2x. The thermal system itself has a stated detection range of up to 1800m (5906ft).
The 1600x1200 AMOLED display measures 12.7mm (0.5 inch), giving the thermal image a high-resolution viewing surface with six colour palettes and Forest and Target image modes. Controls are arranged around one-handed operation, with wheel focusing and tactile buttons, while the rubber-coated IP67 housing weighs 435g (15.3oz).
A replaceable rechargeable 18650 battery system is rated for up to 7 hours of operation. The Cyclops 335L 3.0 also includes 64GB of internal memory, photo and video playback, OSD recording, picture-in-picture, hot tracking, hotspot connectivity, and app remote control, keeping the main observation and recording functions together in one compact handheld unit.
Key Features
- High-Sensitivity Thermal Imaging: The 384x288 12um sensor, NETD below 15mK, and 35mm (1.38 inch) F0.8 objective lens work together to retain thermal detail in demanding viewing conditions.
- Integrated 1000m Laser Rangefinder: Measures distances out to 1000m (3281ft) with a stated accuracy of +/-1m (+/-3.3ft), keeping ranging and thermal observation in one handheld device.
- 1600x1200 AMOLED Viewing: The 12.7mm (0.5 inch) AMOLED display provides a high-resolution viewing surface for examining thermal detail and contrast.
- Thermal Super Resolution: AI-driven Thermal Super Resolution works with 4.3x base magnification and continuous 1-4x digital zoom for a combined magnification range up to 17.2x.
- Stable AI Calibration: ThermTec AI Calibration is designed to reduce shutter frequency and image freezing for more consistent viewing as conditions change.
- 1800m Detection Range: The thermal system has a stated detection range of up to 1800m (5906ft) for extended-distance observation.
- Replaceable 18650 Battery: The rechargeable and replaceable battery system is rated for up to 7 hours of operation.
- IP67 Protection: The IP67-rated housing supports outdoor use in wet, dusty, and changing field conditions.
