All personal information collected from the website is held by Outdoor Shop in a secure database. We however do not hold any payment information. If at any point you require access to your personal information, you have the right under the Privacy Act 2020 to request this information from Outdoor Shop and also have the right to correct or request us to delete any information held on our database. Please contact us via email if you wish to notify us of any changes.

To enable product reviews, Outdoor Shop shares customer name, email address, and order details with Judge.me (judge.me), a third-party review platform. Review request emails are only sent to customers who have opted in to marketing communications. Judge.me processes this information on our behalf solely for the purpose of sending review request emails and managing submitted reviews. Judge.me does not sell your personal information. For details on how Judge.me handles your data, please refer to the Judge.me Privacy Policy.

All prices displayed on this website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are subject to change without notice. While we make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate, errors may occur. In the event of a pricing error, Outdoor Shop reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order placed at the incorrect price.

For out-of-stock products, any price displayed is indicative only and based on last known supplier pricing. Current pricing will be confirmed with our supplier at the time of enquiry before any order is placed. Outdoor Shop cannot guarantee that the displayed price will be available at the time of fulfilment.

Outdoor Shop may offer price matching on eligible products before purchase. Price match requests are assessed case by case and must be submitted before the order is completed.

To be eligible for consideration, the competitor offer must meet all of the following conditions:

• The competitor must be a New Zealand retailer selling online.
• The competitor product must be in stock and available to purchase at the time Outdoor Shop reviews the request.
• The competitor price must be publicly visible and available to all customers without requiring a reward account, loyalty account, trade account, staff account, member login, personalised offer, special access, or account-specific pricing.
• The competitor price must be current at the time of review. Expired discounts, past promotions, upcoming discounts, advertised future sales, or offers that are not currently live are not eligible.
• The product must be identical, including brand, model, size, colour, variation, specifications, condition, and included accessories where applicable.
• The competitor price must be listed in New Zealand Dollars, GST inclusive, and able to be independently verified by Outdoor Shop.

When comparing prices, Outdoor Shop will include any mandatory delivery charges, handling fees, payment surcharges, or other required costs in the competitor's final price.

Approved price matches will adjust the price to equal the verified competitor price, unless Outdoor Shop agrees otherwise in writing.

An approved price match is valid only at the time it is approved and does not reserve stock. If the competitor price, availability, or product details change before the order is completed, Outdoor Shop may review or withdraw the approval.

Price matching does not apply to:

• Overseas retailers, marketplace sellers, auction sites, classified listings, private sellers, or social media listings.
• Products that are out of stock, on backorder, pre-order, unavailable, discontinued, used, refurbished, damaged, ex-demo, or open-box.
• Prices that require a coupon code, reward points, cashback offer, loyalty discount, account-specific pricing, trade pricing, staff pricing, negotiated pricing, or bulk-buy pricing.
• Bundle deals, package offers, bonus item offers, gift card offers, finance-only offers, or promotions where the product price cannot be clearly separated.
• Clearance, liquidation, closing down, or pricing error offers.
• Requests made after an order has already been placed.
• Products where the competitor's product, warranty, availability, freight terms, payment terms, or included accessories are not directly comparable.

Approved price matches cannot be combined with other Outdoor Shop discount codes, promotional offers, reward offers, or store credit unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Submitting a price match request does not reserve stock or guarantee approval. Outdoor Shop reserves the right to accept, decline, or withdraw a price match request at its sole discretion, including but not limited to where the offer does not meet these terms, cannot be verified, appears to be a pricing error, or appears to involve misuse of the price matching policy.

Outdoor Shop may collect, moderate, and display customer product reviews on selected products. Product reviews are intended to help customers make informed decisions based on verified Outdoor Shop customer experiences. Review requests are sent via Judge.me, a third-party review platform, and are only sent to customers who have opted in to marketing communications.

Outdoor Shop only publishes product reviews that can be verified as relating to a completed Outdoor Shop order for the product being reviewed. Reviews may be checked before publication and may be matched against order details such as the customer's name, email address, order number, product purchased, or other information reasonably available to Outdoor Shop.

Reviews submitted by people who did not purchase the reviewed product from Outdoor Shop, or reviews that cannot reasonably be matched to a completed Outdoor Shop order, may be declined or hidden.

Outdoor Shop may decline, hide, edit, or remove reviews that are:

• Spam, fake, duplicated, or clearly part of review bombing
• Submitted by someone who cannot be verified as having purchased the reviewed product from Outdoor Shop
• Submitted for a different product, variant, size, colour, or model than the product purchased
• Abusive, offensive, threatening, or discriminatory
• Not actually about the product being reviewed
• Only about shipping, payment, website, or customer service issues rather than the product itself
• Containing personal details such as phone numbers, addresses, order numbers, tracking numbers, payment details, or staff details
• Promoting another business, website, product, or service
• Clearly false, misleading, or inconsistent with the verified order or product purchased
• Encouraging unsafe, illegal, or improper use of a product

Outdoor Shop does not remove verified product reviews simply because they are negative. Verified reviews, whether positive or negative, may be published where they are product-based, relevant, and useful to other customers.

Reviews may be automatically screened for inappropriate language. Where such language is detected, Outdoor Shop may decline the review, request that the reviewer resubmit it, or replace the relevant word(s) with asterisks before publication.

Outdoor Shop may publicly respond to reviews to provide product guidance, clarify product use, offer support, or explain how an issue may be resolved.
