Jeremy Valdez of Tampa, Florida brings combat experience and time serving in the 7th Special Forces Group to the aptly named Septimo™; a tribute meaning “seventh” in Spanish. The main motivation for this design arises from his 2009 deployment to Afghanistan. During combat operations, Jeremy was involved in a helicopter crash. Duty to his fallen comrades and brothers and sisters in arms drove him to design the Septimo™ with a quick flipper opening, a desert-proof black oxide finish, and friction points on the handles to help deal with inclement conditions. To replace the handle, remove the old handle by carefully placing the butt of the old handle on the ground and tapping the head of the T-hawk with a mallet until it slides down. To put the new handle on, slide the head onto the handle from the tapered end until it is seated on the thicker end of the handle. Next, hold the handle of the T-Hawk with the head down and hit the ground or a hard surface sharply several times to seat the head onto the handle. Changes in humidity may cause the head to become loose so be sure to check before use.

The material:

The patented DE.LA.RO frame is made of stainless steel , a resistant material that made it possible to create a light frame without sacrificing the aesthetic aspect.

The hinges:

The hinges with lock make the opening of the temples safer and at the same time allow you to control the closure so that the rod does not hit the lens.

Curly rubber terminal:

The rubber curl end favors a more firm and controlled wearing.

Patented adjustable nose pad:

A multi-step system has been devised on the nose in order to give more positioning possibilities, setting the right height with a screw. The screw will only be unscrewed to correctly identify the position of the height.

Two silicone nose pads are also applied to the nose, a soft and anatomical material for good adherence without creating injury to the skin. The sweatband in silicone material ensures greater adherence to the face.
