Full Cage Description:

The Outdoor Outfitters Pig Trap is a Kiwi-designed masterpiece of a trap. This patent-pending design has evolved over a period of 40 years, by Canterbury pig hunter Daniel Robins (aka Diesel); the result is the perfect trap for the capture of multiple pigs. Diesel has recorded each of the 1500+ pigs caught during his long hunting career and tried many different designs before settling on this as the final design.

Two key aspects of the design are the cleverly designed door allows multiple entries into the trap without having to be reset or allowing those animals already caught to escape and its strength. Many 200+ lb pigs have attempted to escape from this trap but without success. 

Made from galvanised steel mesh keeps the cost down and strength up.

Tips For Setup:

• Choose a spot where you know pigs have been
• Choose a spot that is visible from a distance with binoculars so you can visually check the trap without disturbing it
• Use a 7-14 day old sheep/beef carcass (the smellier the better)
• DO NOT HAVE DOGS ANYWHERE NEAR the trap
• We strongly recommend that the trap be 'pegged' into the ground using standard fencing 'Waratahs' to further aid security

Instruction for use:
1.Simply place the appropriate bait at the end of the trap.
2.Animals entering the trap stand on the trip mechanism, closing the door behind them.
3.Small mesh size, along with a strong door locking system, prevents escape of the trapped animal.

Pack of 10 replacement galvanised possum trap triggers, suitable for the Outdoor Outfitters leg hold type possum traps. 

Having a pack of spare triggers will prove to be handy as the triggers on possum traps may wear out over time, or sometimes a trapped possum can knock the trigger off. 

If you're a keen possum trapper be sure to have a couple packs of spare triggers on hand incase you need to replace some triggers next time you're putting traps out!

Simply mount the included Quick-Detach scope ring onto any 1" or 30mm scope tube. Then fit the torch mount's weaver base to the scope ring. These are easy to install and mean you can easily remove your torch for the times when you don't need it shooting.
