Mercator Knife Copper Folding 9cm Blade With Clip Mercator Knife Copper Folding 9cm Blade With Clip
Mercator Knife Copper Folding 9cm Blade With Clip

For more than 100 years the Mercator knife has been produced in Solingen almost unchanged. This Solingen original was first produced in the knife and blade forge "Mercator" Indiawerk Heinrich Kaufmann & Söhne. Even though it was not designed as an army knife, the army of Kaiser Wilhelm quickly learned to appreciate the qualities of the Mercator. The name "Kaiser Wilhelm Messer" originates from this time. As it is almost indestructible, the Mercator knife was passed on from generation to generation in the past. This is also how it made the leap into the present day.

Since 1995 this robust pocket knife has been produced by OTTER-Messer in Solingen. Its shape has remained the same until today, as well as its qualities with which it distinguishes itself in everyday life: reliability, robustness and handiness. In addition to the traditional shapes of the Mercator knife, you will also find some new models which stand out in colour but still retain their classic silhouette.

Simple, functional and robust. The original Mercator knife has been popular for over 100 years. Even though it wasn't designed to be an army knife, it quickly gained acceptance in Emperor William's army. This was also the time that created the name "Emperor William Knife". Today, it is used worldwide and distinguishes itself with its narrow, rugged design in everyday life. This model has an added stainless steel clip. Whether on belt, trouser pockets or backpack, thanks to the clip you quickly have our Mercator knife on your fingertips.

CRKT Provoke Folding Knife Orange CRKT Provoke Folding Knife Orange Sale
CRKT Provoke Folding Knife Orange

The CRKT Provoke® Orange morphing karambit knife draws on ancient design but it’s hiding a futuristic secret. The first knife ever to feature Kinematic® technology, it stays neatly tucked away in transit and comes to life when there’s trouble afoot. Now built with Grivory®—a strong, lightweight, engineered thermoplastic—it’s more lightweight, adept, and crafted to go anywhere.

The opening mechanism is pulling the folder into the future whether it’s ready or not. Thumb pressure on the upper crossbar sets the chain reaction in motion, causing the blade to lunge to action while you’ve got a firm grasp on the handle. It’s built of orange Grivory®, a super durable, lightweight thermoplastic for easy transport and a seamless transition into an everyday carry. In true Joe fashion, the pocket clip is also a world first—sitting almost completely flush with the handle and likewise activated with light thumb pressure.

The Provoke® comes up strong when it’s called in for duty.

How Kinematic® Works: Nudge the upper crossbar with your thumb—while the rest of your fingers firmly grasp the handle—and the blade lunges to life and locks into place. Shift the discrete lever at the base of the finger loop and the blade retreats into its closed position.

Features:
• Unique Innovation: Kinematic® deploys the blade with push of the thumb
• Easy to Sharpen: High carbon stainless steel blade takes an edge well
• Enhanced Protection: Black stonewash is durable and ages well
• Simple and Tough: Injection molded handle is impact resistant
• Low Profile: pocket clip provides secure carry
• High Visibility: Bright orange is easy to spot in all conditions

CRKT Knife 'Kuk' Machete with Sheath CRKT Knife 'Kuk' Machete with Sheath
CRKT Knife 'Kuk' Machete with Sheath

Your basic outdoor utility knife. If you’re a badass Gurkha warrior. Designer Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical is no stranger to archaeologically-significant edged tools; his parents gifted him an antique Kukri knife when he was just ten years old. He’s been refining his aesthetic taste and design skill ever since. The culmination of his passion and hard work: The KUK™. Over the top? That’s just how we like it.

Designer Ryan Johnson hails from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and hasn’t just dedicated his impressive career to producing incredible knives, but to studying the historical and cultural significance behind them. The KUK™ fixed blade is a reflection of this lifelong fascination—it harkens back to just what exactly enticed him to knifemaking in the first place.

Named KUK™, short for kukri, after the Nepalese tactical and utilitarian machete, this full tang recurved blade means business. One look at the burly carbon steel blade with a black powder coated finish is proof. Balanced out by a tough glass-reinforced nylon handle, it’s a surprisingly elegant balance of form and function. And when tucked in its woven polyester sheath, the additional paracord makes for super versatile carry options, just in case you’re headed over a high Himalayan pass with a full pack.

There’s not much that would make a Nepalese warrior jealous, but the KUK™ is another story.
