The leather on this sheath is 6/7 oz. full-grained leather that is heavy duty and hand crafted in Oregon, USA. The leather is vegetable tanned and will not corrode metal. It has a hand oiled finish for durability and the seams are locked stitched with heavy weight nylon thread. The sheath protects the axe head and fits snugly and securely with two snaps. The belt loop fits belts with widths up to 1 ¾ inches.

This sheath only fits the CRKT Woods Kangee™ T-Hawk.

Are you a brute and your untamed chopping power broke your CRKT® Woods T-Hawk handle? No problem. We have the replacement handle for your CRKT® T-hawk right here. This Tennessee hickory handle is the replacement handle for the Woods Chogan T-Hawk and the Woods Kangee T-hawk. It's made in the USA and sealed with a lacquer coat that adds durability when you're in the backcountry.

To replace the handle, remove the old handle by carefully placing the butt of the old handle on the ground and tapping the head of the T-hawk with a mallet until it slides down. To put the new handle on, slide the head onto the handle from the tapered end until it is seated on the thicker end of the handle. Next, hold the handle of the T-Hawk with the head down and hit the ground or a hard surface sharply several times to seat the head onto the handle. Changes in humidity may cause the head to become loose so be sure to check before use.

The design for this CRKT T-Hawk evolved from the popular and original tactical tomahawk series. But it’s built for battle with a few old Doug Firs. The CRKT Woods Kangee™ is made from a solid chunk of 1055 carbon steel that is hot forged into a rock-solid head and features a hammer finish. With primary and secondary edge bevels that are flat ground, it cuts through timber like a beaver. A spike on the opposite end splits ultra-tough wood knots like a boss.

The thick wood handle is made in the USA from Tennessee hickory. It's comfortable in hand and sealed with a lacquer coat that adds durability whenever you're in the backcountry—in other words, all the time.
